The Brenner Base Tunnel

The Observatory of the construction of the Brenner base tunnel is run by a twelve-member committee, which not only ​​includes representatives of the country and the Brenner Base Tunnel Company (BBT SE), but also representatives of district and communities Eisack Wipptal, and the communities in the project area. Especially the last ones have direct contact to the population and are intended to carry on their concerns. The Observatory operates independently of the BBT SE and will accompany every step of the construction phases. The idea is to keep the impact on people and environment as lows as possible.
